Adrienne Bloch Consulting collaborates with organizations, cross-sector alliances, agencies and foundations to support the transition toward thriving resilient communities, ecological economies, and a renewable energy future. Adrienne Bloch takes a whole systems approach to provide strategy, law and policy expertise on climate related issues.
The world is at a crucial moment. Climate disruption threatens our lives and health and will force deep reorganization of our economies. Climate change is occurring rapidly and we must take decisive action to prevent or delay the most destructive impacts.
While climate change impacts everyone, low-income communities and communities of color first and hardest. Not incidentally, climate equity—mitigation, adaption and resilience interventions that advance quality of life for disadvantaged communities—benefits everyone. Tackling climate disruption threats can create opportunities to address long standing racial and economic inequity through structural and systemic change that promotes climate resilience.
To achieve this, we need a whole systems, multi-sector, multi-discipline approach to keep fossil fuels in the ground, build renewable energy and democratized energy infrastructure, develop food, housing, and transportation security, and ensure expanded opportunities for a strong livelihoods.
Climate change calls on us to discover connection, balance, and a new way of being with one another, nature and the Earth. Adrienne Bloch Consulting is dedicated to a whole systems approach to comprehensive systems change toward a healthy future.
Adrienne Bloch has twelve years experience working with organizers, scientists, alliances and agencies alongside and on behalf of low-income communities and communities of color to develop law and policy to improve quality of life, health and the environment.
